Duties
Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently to maintain cleanliness standards.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning dishes under supervision.
Support the kitchen team by bussing tables and clearing plates during service to ensure a clean dining environment.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, floors, and storage areas by following proper sanitation procedures.
Help with catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely delivery of prepared food items.
Follow all food handling safety protocols to ensure hygiene and compliance with health regulations.
Assist in basic cooking tasks when necessary, supporting chefs in preparing ingredients or assembling dishes.
Skills
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hotel environments is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
Ability to perform cleaning duties thoroughly and efficiently.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food prep and cleanliness.
Excellent teamwork skills; able to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers.
Basic cooking skills or culinary experience are a plus but not required.
