We are looking for a vendor/vendors to manage our stand in three different farmers markets.
If you are interested in one of them only, that is fine.
The market days are:
Ramsey: Every Sunday 9am-2pm.
Montclair: Every Saturday 8am-2pm.
Hoboken: Every Tuesday 2pm-7pm.
For each market day we will pay you a base pay of $100 + a bonus of 10% of sales.
(In our most recent market, the sales totaled more than $800, and our sales have been growing).
For the market, you need to show up on location no later than 1 hour before a market starts, in order to catch a parking spot right behind you, and set up the stand.
It takes about a half hour to fold down and pack away everything after a market ends.
Figure also your drive time to and from our facility in Woodland Park in order to pick up everything before the market and then drop off everything after the market.
Requirements:
1) Ability to lift 50LB.
2) Drive your own vehicle. Your vehicle has to accommodate:
A canopy that is 65" long
Two coolers that are 38” wide x 18” high
One cooler that is 2’ wide x 16” high
Three 4’x2’ foldable tables
One street sign that is 41” x 2’
8-9 milk crates, and
A few minor items.
3) Be outgoing, extroverted, smiling, consistently offering free samples to every person passing by our stand.
4) Be able to learn about our products, and explain their health benefits to customers, at least on a basic level.
5) Be responsible. Show up early.
6) Be neat and organized.
7) Be kind and pleasant, with a happy, friendly attitude.
The more customers you get to buy our products, the more money you will make.
We will accompany you to the first market and show you everything—from how to set up the canopy to how to discuss the important product benefits with customers. We will be available by phone for every question or issue during all subsequent markets when you are on your own.
