The widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio lets you view DVD movies as they were meant to be seen. Sharp's Advanced Super View (ASV) LCD combines a patent-pending panel design with a special anti-glare coating to deliver greater brightness and much wider viewing angles than ever before. AQUOS TVs are the brightest LCD TVs available, so you can place them anywhere — even near windows, doors, or other light sources — and still enjoy dynamic colors and ultra-crisp contrast!
The other striking feature of this flat-screen design is its under-3" depth and light weight. You get a lot of crystal-clear picture in a little space! A handle is built in for easy carrying — you can pick up this TV with one hand and carry it to another room! And the built-in stand creates a graceful look on your desktop, or detaches if you'd prefer wall-mounting (hardware not included).
Unlike a conventional tube-type TV, an LCD TV doesn't use an electron gun, so the display isn't susceptible to distortion from a nearby magnet (like a speaker).
