BeyondLimitations Empowerment LLC is seeking a qualified Singing Coach / Vocal Instructor to work with our adult clients with disabilities in New Jersey. This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
We are a growing, heart-centered agency that focuses on empowerment, skill-building, confidence, and self-expression for adults with disabilities. Music is a powerful tool for our clients, and we’re looking for someone who understands both vocal technique and compassionate instruction.
Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 singing/vocal coaching sessions to adult clients
Teach vocal technique, breathing, pitch, tone, and performance confidence
Adapt lessons to meet individual learning styles and abilities
Maintain professional boundaries and a supportive, encouraging environment
Collaborate with our team as needed regarding client progress
Requirements:
Formal training or credentials in vocal performance, music education, or vocal coaching
Prior experience teaching singing (studio, private lessons, school, or similar)
Experience working with individuals with disabilities would be great
Patient, reliable, and professional
Ability to pass background checks as required
Must be comfortable working as an independent contractor (1099)
Schedule & Pay:
Flexible scheduling based on client availability
Sessions are typically 1:1
Location:
In-person sessions in New Jersey (exact locations vary by client)
