Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and patient 3D Printing Instructor to teach clients how to use 3D printers and design simple projects. Sessions are one-on-one and tailored to each client’s learning pace.
Responsibilities:
Teach clients how to operate 3D printers (setup, printing, troubleshooting)
Introduce basic 3D design software (e.g., Tinkercad, Fusion 360, etc.)
Guide clients in creating simple projects (keychains, small models, etc.)
Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
Adapt teaching style to meet each client’s needs
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience with 3D printing
Familiarity with beginner-friendly design software
Ability to explain concepts in a simple, patient manner
Reliable transportation for in-person sessions
Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus (not required)
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in education, tech, engineering, or creative arts
Experience teaching or tutoring
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
