2016 Hyundai Elantra Limited with “Ultimate Technology Package”. Red with beige interior. 138k miles. $6,900. We are not a used car dealer, this is my daughter’s car I helped her buy when it had 10k miles so she is second owner. You will never find another 2016 with the Tech Unlimited package it took us 6 months to find this car back in 2017 it has every single option you could possibly get on the car. I’ll go thru the list below. I’ve looked up prices and similar cars on carguru, kbb, Edmunds, etc and I think this is a very fair price for a hard to find car and I think it will move quickly. She has my second grandbaby on the way and needs an SUV so only reason we’re selling it. We’re not in a rush to sell so no crazy lowball offers will be considered.
Its been a good car to her never let herdown. Car is still registered and insured with plates so you can do a full test drive. I’ve done all the maintenance on the car: 100k was done according to Hyundai manual: coolant, brake fluid, spark plugs. Engine air filter and cabin filter changed every year. She changed the oil herself every 3k miles like I taught her (even while pregnant with grandbaby #1!). The TPMS batteries died in the tires earlier this year so we replaced them all with new. She had the windows, headlights, and tails tinted, I was against it when she told me but after, it looks amazing. And she added black window vent visors on all four windows, otherwise the car is stock and nothing else modified.
Only the Limited model has the LEDs around the headlights and LED taillights. Everyone thinks this car is an Audi because of that. Keyless push-button start, front and rear heated seats, navigation. We have two sets of the original key fobs. Here is Edmunds.com description of the Ultimate Tech package:
“The Limited adds 17-inch wheels, projector headlights with LED accents, LED taillights, adjustable steering effort, a six-way power driverseat (with power lumbar), leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated rear seats and Blue Link (https://www.hyundaiusa.com/BlueLink/) telematics. Optional on Limited is the Ultimate package, which adds the sunroof back and throws in a 7-inch touchscreen display, a navigation system and an upgraded audio system.”
Besides some very minor scratches for a 138k miles car, every single thing on the car works perfect except for two things: One of the three LEDs around the right headlight is not lighting, I told my daughter its not worth buying a whole new headlight or taking this one apart just for one LED. And the sunroof will still tilt up and vent but its not opening all the way, its stuck on one side. I didn’t want to take it apart and risk breaking the glass sunroof myself, but IMO something is jammed in there and should be easy to remove.
The car can be looked at/driven during the week before 5pm in New Milford, and at night and weekends I’ll drive it home to Haledon. I have a bank 2 blocks from my house and also from my job, so this car will be bought for cash and brought to the bank where once they accept the bills we will sign over the title and you get the car and keys. Since the car is plated, if you show me proof of insurance we can talk about transporting it to where you need it to go(drive her on plates but with your insurance just so you can get it home right away).
