Selling truck as-is...
It’s been a great truck with no mechanical issues or accidents.
My Mechanic installed a new ignition switch, a (remanufactured) PCM, along with a new battery and thermostat.
The PCM / Powertrain Control Module - is the main electronic control Unit (ECU). It’s essentially the vehicle’s central computer; so it is better than new and remains in good standing with 1- year warrantee! Diagnosed with the need to replace a remanufactured BCM / Body Control Module and a new ECM, which are final two complimentary electric component..!
2009 Chevrolet Colorado LT — 2.9L I4 / Auto / 2WD — $1,600 (Morris Plains, NJ)
Needs BCM + ECM; and Tow-away.
The truck has been reliable until it developed an electrical control issue that was resolved with a remanufactured PCM (Engine Control Module) has already been installed and comes with a 1-year warranty, so the Master Chip is brand new.
To get the truck running again, it will need:
• A remanufactured BCM (Body Control Module)
• A new ECM (Engine Control Module)
• Installation + programming
I’m not completing these final repairs because I urgently needed transportation and have already purchased another vehicle. I can’t afford any more downtime—my loss, your potential gain. If you have the time to source the remanufactured BCM and new ECM and pay for install/programming, you could easily come out $2,000 ahead as overall value.
Condition:
• 144,000 miles
• 2.9L I4 / automatic / 2WD
• Clean title in hand
• Engine and transmission were strong before BCM/ECM failure
• Excellent tires and spare
• Solid frame and body—no rot or structural issues
• Minor cosmetic apron dent from road debris (cosmetic only)
• Large tool box + bed rack (can be removed)
• Two sets of keys
Price: $1,600 cash
Buyer must tow or flatbed.
Ideal for mechanics, parts buyers, or anyone with access to GM module replacement and programming who wants a profitable project or a solid truck.
