Job purpose
The Customer Service Rep will report to the Customer Service Supervisor and will be responsible for inputting data such as, but not limited to, entry of all sales orders for web, non-web customer orders and customer records. This position will ensure that entries are accurate, complete, and accomplished within a timely manner. It is critical that our CSR strive for 100% order entry accuracy.

Duties and responsibilities

• Create and maintain customer records in database (Sage)
• Enter all sales orders (Magento 1.9 Web Orders, Amazon orders, Non-web customer orders) into company database (Sage)
• Provide customers with order receipt acknowledgment via Email
• Update and communicate with customers regarding sales orders with expected delivery dates and any changes provided by the Purchasing Department
• Verify and communicate with customers regarding invalid shipping addresses
• Provide stock check to customers upon request
• Work with Purchasing Department to obtain stock check with Vendors
• Maintain and update Open Expedite Report
• Answer general customer inquiries via Zendesk Chat in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain and update customer marketing lists in Constant Contact
• Complete any additional projects assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Extreme attention to detail- all data entry work is expected to be 100% accurate
• Reliability and Punctuality a must regarding daily hours
o 1 hour overtime available daily, over 1 hour must be approved by management
• Basic knowledge of purchase order and sales order processing
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
• Prioritizes and executes time sensitive tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Positive, Can-Do attitude - willingness to accept constructive criticism
• High School diploma. College level education a plus
• Knowledge of the following systems are preferred, but not required:
o Sage 50 - accounting
o Magento 1.9 - Web platform
o Constant Contact
o Zendesk Chat

Compensation

• Compensation commensurate with experience
• 10 Prorated Paid Time Off Days (PTO)
• Eligible for Health Insurance (after 90 days) and 401k (after 1 year)
