I’m a musician looking to repurpose an existing music video into short-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts). The video is already live on YouTube, and I want to mark its 1-year anniversary this October by posting around Halloween.
What I need:
• Splice my full video into ~10–15 engaging short clips optimized for TikTok/IG/YouTube Shorts
• Add text overlays, hooks, or captions where needed (I’ll provide notes/brand references)
• Export in vertical format (9:16), platform-ready
• Clips will need to be adapted from landscape → vertical; bonus if you have experience expanding/reframing footage (ideally using AI tools like background fill or smart cropping).
Ideal candidate:
• Comfortable editing for TikTok/Reels/Shorts, with an eye for grabbing attention in the first 3 seconds
• Experience reformatting footage from landscape to vertical in a clean, professional way
• Able to make multiple versions (slight cut/caption differences) so I can test what performs best
Compensation:
Open to negotiation based on experience. Expecting to pay in the range of $100–$250 total for ~10–15 clips with captions/overlays.
Timeline:
Would love first drafts by early October so I can roll them out throughout the month.
