• A Wood Bas Relief vintage wall pendant.
• Measures approximately: 22” x 12”.
• With frame: 26” x 15”
• Depicts the moment Christopher Columbus Discovery of America.
• Along with the legendary sailing ships, the water surface of the ocean, Columbus with his crew approaching the shore and the local Indians watching them.
• Everything is very detailed and realistic.
• CONDITION: GOOD to EXCELLENT vintage Condition.
• Was made between 1920 –1940, by the Syracuse Ornamental Company (Syroco).
• Founded in 1890 in Syracuse, New York by immigrant Adolph Holstein who specialized in decorative woodcarving.
• Famous among collectors.
