Virginia Wade ... (7/10/1945) - a British former professional tennis player who won (3) major tennis singles championships and (4) major doubles championships, and is the only British woman in history to have won titles at all four majors. She was ranked as high as #2 in the world in singles, and #1 in the world in doubles. Over her career, Wade won (55) professional singles championships and was ranked in the world's top 10 continuously from (1967 to 1979). The (26) times that she played at Wimbledon is an all-time record - winning the (1977) Wimbledon Women's Singles title. She was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame, in 1989.

Monica Seles ... (12/2/1973) - a former professional tennis player who represented Yugoslavia & the United States. She won (9) Grand Slam singles titles - (8) of them before her 20th birthday and was the year-end #1 (in 1991 & 1992). In 1993, she was the victim of an on-court attack, when a man stabbed her in the back with a 9" knife. Seles did not return to tennis for over two years but upon returning, she was unable to consistently produce her best form. Seles was named one of the "30 Legends of Women's Tennis: Past, Present and Future" by Time. She was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame, in 2009.

Conchita Martinez ... (4/16/1972) - a former professional tennis player who was the first Spanish player to win the women's singles title at Wimbledon (1994). In 1995, she reached a highest world ranking of #2 and finished the season in the Top 10 for nine years. Martínez won (33) singles and (13) doubles titles during her 18-year career, as well as (3) Olympic medals. She was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame, in 2020.

Martina Hingis ... (9/30/1980) a former professional tennis player who was the first Swiss player to win a Grand Slam and attain a #1 ranking. She spent a total of (209) weeks as the singles world #1 and (90) weeks as doubles world #1, holding both #1 rankings simultaneously for (29) weeks. She won (5) Grand Slam singles titles, (13) Grand Slam women's doubles titles and (7) Grand Slam mixed doubles titles, for a combined total of (25) major titles - including the (1997) Wimbledon Women's Singles title. Hingis was the highest-paid female athlete in the world for five consecutive years (1997 - 2001), according to Forbes. She was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame, in 2013.
