... the Gulf War was an armed conflict between Iraq and a (42) country coalition led by the United States. The coalition's efforts against Iraq were carried out in two key phases: "Operation Desert Shield" - which marked the military buildup from (August 1990 to January 1991); and "Operation Desert Storm" - which began with the aerial bombing campaign against Iraq on (January 17, 1991) and came to a close with the American-led liberation of Kuwait on (February 28, 1991).

The Gulf War ... lot of (20) original "Final Edition" newspapers! ... all span the time-frame pertaining to "Operation Desert Storm" (January 17, 1991 - February 28, 1991) ... all published & printed (in Newark, NJ), by the newspaper for NJ - "The Star-Ledger" ... which provided daily news coverage of then current global & local headlines & events ... the following dates are represented:

* ... Jan.17-19, ... Jan. 21-23, ... Jan. 26, ... Jan. 28
* ... Feb. 16-25, ... Feb. 27-28

All newspapers are folded (w/crease near-center) ... none are completely full, but - all have at least one section (w/front page) ... some also include the next sequenced section ... no sports pages! ... no clipped headlines, articles, or advertisements! ... no writings or water damage! ... all are in overall good condition! ... all have some degree of toning (due to age) - mainly upon the front pages & along the border margins belonging to the inner pages.
