Vintage Peterchens Mondfahrt (children’s fairy tales printed in German) - $8 (Budd Lake)

1920’s hardcover version printed in Salzburg Austria. Little Peter's Journey to the Moon (German Peterchens Mondfahrt) is a fairy tale written by German author and playwright Gerdt von Bassewitz. It was first performed as a play in Leipzig in 1912 and appeared in 1915 as a storybook for children with illustrations by Hans Baluschek.
This book edition is almost a 100 years old. The cover has some wear to it, but inside pages are in mint condition (no tears or bent edges or markings). Four generations of my family have enjoyed these stories. This children’s book was so popular that it had been translated into many languages. Search internet for more info.
