Sled - Hoboken turn of 19th century - $550

This is over 100 years old
Sled manufactured between 1890 - 1910
From the markings on the back of this
Sled - this sled was either made in Europe or freighted into the Hoboken Docks from somewhere in the USA
Note the information on the bottom of the Sled
This is either a sole survivor or a craftsman built sled for someone with funds or from Europe for the person whose name is on the sled
Sled could have been pulled by dogs
The wood is solid and heavy
The rail was wrapped with a leather ( there are remnants)
There is a portion of the rail that shows some deterioration but not much and can easily be re-wrapped in leather
The woven burlap fabric used for sitting is intact but it is over 100 years old
Length: 67 inches
Width: 28 inches
Height of sled minus the top railing: 6-1/2”
