This may have been a store display piece used to hold pouches of Beechnut tobacco from the early 1900's.
**The box has no tobacco scent.**
In good condition with lots of wear patina.
Missing bottom of front latch, (photo) and has a dent in the top left side, (photo)
Measures about 12X11X6. Not sure of the age.
