Antique Western Electric telephone switchboard in a solid wood cabinet. It is in excellent vintage condition with only minor wear commensurate with age, and was used by a physicians’ practice in a mansion in Upper Montclair, NJ approximately 60 – 80 years ago. Working status is unknown – but of course it is probably more of a decorative than functional piece in this era. It was likely manufactured in the 1940s.
Dimensions are 46 inches high x 25 inches wide x 30 inches deep (including the console) (the base without the console is 21 inches deep). Includes the handset, rotary dial and crank, as pictured.
