1893 Pot Belly Stove
Originally heated the waiting room of the West 8th Street Station in Bayonne, NJ.
The train station was built by the Central Railroad of NJ in 1893 and demolished in 1963.
A photo of the station taken many years ago is attached as the last photo.
This cast-iron coal-burning stove was rescued by my father, a Central Railroad track foreman, when the station was demolished.
Photo 2 shows the year 1893 stamped on the stove.
