The History of this picture: Before arriving in the Unites States, The Beatles were asked to take promo shots for their U.S. debut. The 48 star flag that is featured in this Lithograph was borrowed from the US embassy in Paris and was escorted by the United States military to the George V hotel where The Beatles posed for the iconic image, as the band played 18 nights of gigs, and hearing of reaching Number 1 with "I Want To Hold Your Hand" in the USA. It has since symbolized the beginning of their British Invasion, which began the day they landed at JFK Airport on the 7th February 1964.
