Borunov the humpbacked horse is a character from a famous Russian fairy tale by Pyotr Pavlovich Yershov in 1830s. The tale revolves around a young peasant named Ivan who, through a series of miraculous events, acquires a magical little humpbacked horse. This horse, despite its small size and humped back, possesses extraordinary abilities and wisdom, helping Ivan overcome numerous challenges and fulfill several impossible tasks demanded by the Tsar. The story combines traditional folktale motifs and has been cherished in Russian folklore for generations
