Art is pre-owned in good condition.
The image displays an oil painting featuring two sailboats on calm water, signed "K. Shava" in the lower right corner.
The painting depicts a serene maritime scene with two sailboats. One boat, more prominent in the foreground, features a red and yellow hull and a single mast with a white sail partially visible. The second boat, further in the background, is smaller and appears white with an orange sail. The boats are situated on tranquil water, reflecting the colors of the sky and the boats themselves, creating a sense of depth and calm. The background suggests a hazy or misty atmosphere, contributing to the peaceful ambiance.
The brushstrokes suggest an impressionistic or post-impressionistic style, focusing on light, color, and atmosphere rather than sharp details.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
-----------------------------
Shava, K. (birth name Kai Lim / Chinese) born in 1974 in the Shan Dong Province of China. Exhibited great artistic talent from a young age, and was encouraged by his family to continue practicing and learning various art forms. Graduate from the Beijing Art Academy with a major in Western Oil Painting in 1998, before joining the military for 4 years. It was during periods of traveling while in the service that he realized his love for landscapes and began sketching his surroundings to pass the time. After his time with the army, K. Shava began working for a major art studio in Beijing where he was able to fully recognize his potential as a landscape painter. The more he painted, however, the more abstract his landscapes became, until his original oil paintings became less about the scene itself, and more about the feeling of a place. K. Shava has held many exhibitions throughout Asia, and has recently made his debut in America where his oil paintings have been well received. His artwork can be found in select fine art galleries and private collections throughout the United States, Asia, and Europe.
