Signed in pencil and annotated with title and "1980". A hand colored etching in nine colors showing artist's interpretation of "ideal winter day" with no clouds. The artwork features farm houses and a large tree in the foreground. It is being presented in a dark wood frame.
About the Artist: Etcher and watercolorist Carol Collette was Born in Toronto and graduated with honors from the Ontario College of Art. After a stay in Europe with her artist husband John Collette, she began to experiment with etching using a series of Cape Cod sketches as the basis for her first works and developed her etching technique in tandem with her adept use of watercolors. She has established an international reputation and her art is included in many corporate, private and public collections.
