The unit has the transport carriage with the meat grip assembly attached. Kinfe blade appears to be sharp, it cut through some veggies with no issues. Might have small dings on it, but nothing major and it spins round. Unit does not have a sharpener (but one can be added to it).
Machine runs off of standard 120vac electricity, plug it in and turn on. Before using, I highly recommend a good cleaning and dissinfecting, I cleaned it to the best of my ability with the products I had.
This is a solid machine that will last ages like all other Hobart equipment. It's solid and heavy and requires two people to move it around safely.
