Join us as we revel in the meaninglessness, horror, and endless comic absurdity of life, fellow travelers-fellow SHARP AS A TACK travelers.
We'll begin each class with readings from, whomever-Schopenhauer, Leopardi, Cioran, Ligotti, Zappfe, etc. And take it from there! Cause we'll be a group of effortlessly charming misanthropes, brimful of world-class banter. How likely is this in New Jersey? Not very, DUH-but I need to give this a shot. I'm dying of boredom. Dying of malls, diners, and MORONS.
I will call a class/meeting when a quorum of five or six is reached.
If you've got nothing nice to say about anyone, sit next to me.
~ Dorothy Parker

~ Thomas Bernhard
'Neither love nor hate" contains a half of all worldly wisdom; 'say nothing and believe nothing' contains the other half. But, of course, we should be only too glad to turn our backs on a world where such rules are necessary.
The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.
~ George Bernard Shaw
Death as the destruction of all things no longer had meaning when life was revealed to be a fatuous sequence of empty words, the hollow jingle of a jester's cap and bells.
~ Michel Foucault, Madness & Civilization
