I need to move to California by the first of December. My lease expires on May 5, 2010. You have the option of:<br>
<b>1)</b> subletting from Dec. 1 until the lease expires on May 5, 2010,<br>
<b>2)</b> subletting from Dec. 1 to May 5, 2010, and renewing the year's lease directly with Newport at whatever the rate will be, or<br>
<b>3)</b> establishing a year's lease with Newport altogether, starting between Dec. 1 and Dec. 5, at the <u>current</u> market rate of $1620.</font><p><br>

<font face="arial" size="3" color="black">The apartment is on the 8th floor of the George Washington building. The studio is unique because the kitchen is on the window end of the unit, so there's plenty of good light coming in from both the kitchen and main living area (two double windows). The kitchen is unusually large compared with other units in the building. There's room for a table or other small kitchen furniture.<p>

There may be some furniture available, such as a leather sofabed and dresser set, unless and until I can sell them before the sublet agreement is signed. I'll leave only what you want. <b>See photos below.</b><p><br>

The building is nicely insulated from vehicular and foot traffic. There's a lovely garden park right outside. The doormen are attentive, and the maintenance staff responsive.</font><p>
