InterTest, Inc., an expanding market leader in the RVI (Remote Visual Inspection) market, has an immediate opening for an Inventory / Material Coordinator. We are conveniently located off of Route 80 West, exit 4, in Columbia, New Jersey.
The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of direct experience coupled with a strong knowledge of SBT / Sage, Mas 50 or 90, Peachtree, QuickBooks, or any other small business software.
Our products are a combination of machined products, sheet metal and electronics that are eventually assembled into a finished product.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Proficient in A, B, C daily inventory cycle counting.
Be the gatekeeper of the inventory.
Pull and distribute the inventory to the manufacturing group.
Prepare the inventory as WIP, until required on the production floor.
Analyze and report inventory variances.
Maintain an accurate inventory level, both in cost and quantity.
Ability to understand Bill of Materials.
Track and report key inventory levels and adjust the min / max levels in the database.
Communicate incorrect shipments to Purchasing / Supply Chain.
Provide support for Supply Chain group as required.
Assist in problem resolution for Inventory / Materials related problems.
Requirements:
High School diploma.
2 - 5 years of responsible experience.
Ability to provide solutions, not problems.
Can do attitude.
Willingness to learn the business and bring new ideas to the table.
