Employment opportunities are available for candidates interested in conducting in home interviews for a national study in the Newark, NJ area. Candidates will be trained on conducting interviews and conducting standardized physical and biomarker measurements in households with adults. Candidates must be willing and available to work in a variety of neighborhoods including the inner city, enter data on a laptop computer, have reliable transportation, ability to attend training in Detroit, MI, and work a flexible schedule of 25-30 hrs/wk during the day, evenings, and weekends. Pay rate for the Newark, NJ area is $15.00/hr. and interviewers are reimbursed for mileage and expenses. The university is interested in English speaking and Bi-lingual applicants. Spanish/English bilingual candidates receive an additional $2.00/hr. Higher starting rates for applicants with prior data collection experience may be available.
