Artist Information
Original painting by George Wright, a well known and respected, mainly self taught, British artist who lived from 1860-1962. To this day his oil painting are highly regarded and quite popular. He is considered to be one of the best sporting painters of his time.

Overall Condition The glass is in perfect condition.
The print and mat are in excellent condition. Only one flaw. A few very small pieces of wood from the frame are scattered around the bottom right and bottom left side. More of which being at the bottom left.
The frame is in acceptable condition. It does have some flaws. The brown paper covering the back of it has two rips, a rather large one, a little to the left of the right hanger and another smaller one near the middle, closer to the right.
The frame also has some wear at the corners and front. The wood at the top left hand corner, a little to the right of where both sides meet, is significantly darker and slightly pushed in(4th picture from top of description). The gold painted, shield-like pattern, has lost some of its color and at the bottom, close to the right corner, has worn down quite a bit(can be seen in 5th picture from top of description). The thin layer covering the stain with a design vaguely comparable to that of a cheetahs skin and located at the middle surrounding area of the frame, has a few chips along its outer and inner edges.
The stain also has a few nicks, scrapes, and scratches. Particularly at the front of the frame in three concentrated areas. The upper mid left just past the gold pattern(can be seen in 3rd picture from top of description), upper mid right just past the gold pattern(most noticeable), and mid right side just before the innermost white painted stripe.
